Boxer's Mindset

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
